Our mission.
KidSense LLC delivers high-quality, compliant, and efficient vision and hearing screening services to California public schools.
How it works.
Once a school district identifies a need for assistance, we will send a trained and qualified KidSense team member to conduct your vision and/or hearing screenings. Our team manages the entire process- from performing the screenings and collecting data to communicating results directly with district personnel.
If our screening indicates that additional evaluation is needed, appropriate referrals for a comprehensive exam can be initiated. Depending on the district’s preference, these referrals can be made either by our team or by the district itself, based on the scope of services agreed upon.

Meet the owners.
Joseph and Stephanie have lived in Bakersfield since the 90s. They both graduated from local schools and continue to be involved with their community.
Joseph and Stephanie have a deep love for children of all ages and desire to see each one thrive and flourish.

For us, it’s more than just sight and sound. Making sure kids get what they need is a core part of our family values. Two children in our family have special needs that required early intervention. We have learned first hand the importance of being proactive and not reactive. This is reflected in our mission to support early identification through screening procedures. The ability to access all learning experiences through unbridled vision and hearing is something KidSense takes seriously.
